I had major changes to my weight prior to my kidney transplant, so I understand how frustrating it can be to have a closet of clothing that may not fit you properly anymore. I would encourage you to see if your care team can connect you with a dietitian (if you don't already see one) to make sure you are safely losing/gaining weight.
But I lost 70 pound already . I had thing clothes so long time now. My cousin going to donate my old clothes

Getting rid of old stuff is hard! I had to do an entire wardrobe overhaul after my transplant because nothing fit. What worked for me was saving a few things I really loved, for sentimental reasons even if I don’t wear them anymore. The rest I realized belonged to a version of me that didn’t exist anymore, and now they got to mean something to someone else, and I got to fill my closet with new things that represented who I was becoming!
I've also kept some sentimental hoodies and tees that no longer fit me. I even put a college tee shirt I liked in a tee shirt frame and put it on my wall! It was a nice way to showcase something I can't really use anymore.
Me and my aid went to the mall buy some tee shirt and panties and socks

Are you happy about your weightloss - does it make you feel healthier? I understand the loss of clothing - makes you sad but hopefully the weightloss is not also sad! I lost weight after my kidney transplant when the fluid disappeared thanks to working kidneys! But then I started to lose muscles and that is when I realized I needed more calories and more exercise…
I am.happy that I lost 70 pound. But it sad thst I loss my old clothes but I kept 3 shirt.of them.
I’m the opposite I cry because I’ve gained weight after my liver transplant. I lost about 50 pounds from being so sick prior to transplant and had to buy new clothes now I’ve gained all that plus more and have to buy new clothes. So depressing. I did have a friend remind me that my body has carried me through a tough journey and and I should love it no matter how I look!!
