Hi all,
Has anyone experienced hair thinning? If so, how have you treated it?
Have you taken Biotin? If so, did you have good results and did you encounter any health issues with it?
As always "thank you" and take care 😊🙏💚
Tina.

I haven't experience with that
Transplant Patient
We’ve had a few discussions on this over the years! If you google alopecia, or probably even hair, on our forum you can find them.
I personally lost almost all my hair post transplant. I did wigs for quite a while, and then extensions while it grew back. And then it grew back lighter and curlier. I swapped my hair care products, stopped using heat and really focused on nutrition while growing my hair back.
I experienced hair loss post transplant as well in 2023. My hairdresser suggested Nutrafol, but there was an ingredient that was not approved by my coordinator so I did not take it. Instead, she suggested Biotin which I have taken daily ever since. Prior to taking, I cut my hair and avoided heat styling and color. My hair has grown out curlier and thicker than ever. It also helped with my nails as they were cracking and extremely weak.
I haven't experienced hair thinning, I take Prednisone, and hair loss is one of the side effects, so far I haven't had that experience.
I have experienced hair loss. My dermatologist said it was due to anesthesia and medication, I received10 injections in scalp, and my hair started to shed. I had cut my hair to let grow again
