Abdominal fluid
I’m getting close to 3 years post liver TP and I had my CAT scan for incisional hernias that hurt something fierce. My team referred me to their abdominal specialist surgeon after they saw my scans. The surgeon referred me back to my transplant team because he wants them to address the fluid on my abdomen first. They already saw the scan before they referred me to him and now must address something he is pressing. Have any of you experienced some abdominal fluid this long post TP (almost 3 years)? It’s not huge, but it is there. It’s the hernias that hurt. I’ve had ascites drained a few months post, but never had a problem since. My numbers are really great (other than blood cell count). I really want the hernia pain over with by fixing it. But now I have a new concern. Still waiting to hear from my team. Waiting is hard. I want this fixed fast because of the pain.
