I'm also constantly trying to explain to my son that drinking is bad for him, but I guess I also ignored the parental advice I was given. I hope that he will stop his social binge drinking (he's college age) when he sees me in the hospital after the transplant and my scar.
Thank you for listening to it @run_for_fun! I am glad you took something from it. Yeah. Trying to get someone else to stop drinking is a really tough battle that you have to realize is THEIR battle. Not yours. It's hard to turn your back and let the tiles fall where they may. Hopefully your journey will inspire something new.
I’m late to the party but the podcast brought back lots of memories I had to really stop and just give thanks with tons of gratitude for not only my journey, but all of ours .
