Would love to hear from y’all.
Are there any of you who prior to transplant had no issue with blood sugar or diabetes now dealing with high blood sugar?

Yes! Never had issues. But since Transplant, my Glucose levels were high. Now they say it’s Type 2 Diabetes. I am on Januvia and Metformin but I do not monitor. My Dr said “that was our gift to you” (diabetes)!
Because, we haven’t been through enough already!

I never had issues pre-transplant but now post transplant I have issues with low blood sugar. It’s always super low even with me drinking juice or eating carbs.
I started.to having issues and have been classified as pre-diabetic for at least five years now.
The best diagnosis from my Endocronologists is the long term use of steriods.
I have been blessed.with my kidney for twenty five years now. Watch your diet, weight and exercise!
