Who has hearing problems?

Greetings! I’m darth_james. My second kidney transplant was three years ago and it’s working well. I have severe bilateral hearing loss that mostly developed during periods when I was on dialysis. I wear two hearing aids and it’s an obstacle but it’s not easy finding suitable work with hearing impairment and a suppressed immune system.
I would also like to hear what others might suggest for a part time job.

Hi! I am happy to hear you got a second kidney - I did as well, six months ago… wonderful gift of life!
i am sorry about your hearing loss - I don’t have a good reco but perhaps there are others who know? What does your social worker say? This is exactly the kind of help they should provide…
I’m finally getting back to you. If a peripheral problem is caused or comorbid related to kidney disease I remain eligible past the 36 month period under ESRD. Life has its obstacles and I am patient while I contend.
Wow I'm about to celebrate 10 years on my first and I didn't even know I had a chance to get a second!
Anyways you're hearing loss has me curious because I also have experienced differences in my hearing over the years but assumed it was me getting old (lifetime in the construction field, and well hearing protection wasn't always my priority) or self-inflicted (who hasn't maxed out their headphones!)
Can you describe what it was like before it was gone completely are you at least needed assistance?
Mine feel like there's always water trapped in there giving everything a very low distant tunnel effect... And then at random times I'll just get a sharp tone or screech, it is kind of hard to describe but it goes away after a bit.
TY
PS...
Job wise what skills do you have?
I've been with my boss going on 22 years and before my transplant, knowing my health was deteriorating, he moved me out of the field and into more of a maintenance position that has more flexible hours and potentially less risk
