The Power of Advocacy with Jeanmarie and her transplant journey
When I think about strength in the transplant community, @Jeanmarie is one of the first people who comes to mind. She has lived with lupus nephritis, received a kidney that gave her 20 more
years of life, and now faces the reality of needing another. Even with so much on her shoulders, she continues to advocate, speak out, and remind the world that our journeys are about more than just survival — they’re about resilience, hope, and purpose.
For those of us who have been through transplant, her story touches something deep inside. We know what it feels like to carry gratitude and fear all at once. Jeanmarie shows us that even in the hardest moments, it’s possible to keep pushing forward with courage and grace. Let’s flood her with the same love and support she has poured into all of us.
