How was Turkey day?? Did the food agree with you? I had the best day and meal - probably ever! So happy to be together with my family and enjoy the peace...
It was great! nice to have the family around the table (even if it is the same handful that I have seen every day for the last few months 😉 haha!) but that in itself is something to be really grateful for everyday - health and family.
So true @kashkn - same people but more formal and more thoughtful at our house - it was Livs comment that got set the tone when she was asked what she is grateful for:
“ to be together”
completely agree! was just my immediate family of four but we did lots of FaceTime and Zoom. Also had a chance to try out some new recipes that my extended family would definitely have considered to be "too healthy"!!
@rimkmr wnat kind of recipes? Did you ever try the gluten-free Norwegian quinoa bread ? I eat it every morning / so yummy!! Sigdal Bakeri Gluten Free Quinoa, Wholegrain Crispbread, 8.29oz (Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F7JB4PL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_RBdXFb7FDA94Y
Mine was much smaller than normal, just my immediate family, but it was really nice. The weather was beautiful and we were able to eat outside. This was the first Thanksgiving in years where I could eat almost everything and not worry about my stomach getting terribly upset (besides just feeling full!)
Thats fantastic! :)
So beautiful! Liv is absolutely right. ❤️
We made a cauliflower stuffing and a gluten-free bread with honey! And no, I need to order!
