My job is amazing and doing good things for my mental health. Getting out and being a part of something. I am working with a beautiful lady who donated a kidney to her husband. Transplant is a beautiful miracle. Just wanted to let you all know. I am happy! Yay!

SO happy to hear this Tia! I feel the same way about my job! Wishing you continued success and I love that you get to work with someone who also has experience with donation. Let your co-worker know that we love and appreciate her gift of donation, and wishing both her and her husband good health!
Is this job a big shift in terms of what you did for work prior to your transplant?
@Dom Not really. I was going to school for respiratory therapy before I found out I was sick. Always been interested in the medical field.
That's great! I am glad you were able to stay in a field that you enjoy. It is a big plus to have people in the medical field who know what it is like to be a patient!
